Green Market Fundraising's mission is to promote easy steps that we all can take toward living "green". We raise money for schools and organizations by providing a fundraising program that facilitates the sale of eco-friendly alternatives to day-to-day consumer products. Green Market Fundraising's product offerings include reusable bags, energy efficient compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs), renewable energy solar phone chargers and other environmentally-conscious and socially-responsible products. Our program is facilitated for participants and organizations - customers place orders online at the Green Market Fundraising website where fundraising is accounted for and orders are processed and shipped directly to customers' homes. We are proud to raise funds for your organization while you help promote alternatives that make a positive impact on the environment and your community!

The premise of the company is built on the CFL – a super energy efficient light bulb (vs. the traditional incandescent light bulb). Look around, they are already being used in many homes, maybe already in your own home. They are a twist (pun intended – given the CFL's shape!) on the traditional yard-length fluorescent bulbs used in most schools and office buildings around the U.S. Recently, engineers have been able to use the same fluorescent technology and package it in a convenient, compact size for use in residential homes.
